Public product demo

Accessible Event Countdown for WordPress.

Create transparent launch, registration, and maintenance countdowns. These examples use the same visitor-facing CSS and JavaScript shipped in version 0.3.0.

Three editor starters

One fixed instant, presented for different situations.

The dates and actions below are fictional demonstration content. Each timer has an explicit target, and every visitor counts down to the same instant.

Coming soon

Product launch begins in

A bold card layout for a public launch or scheduled event.

Scheduled for:

Event Launch starter: Midnight theme, card layout, four units, and replace-with-message completion.

Registration

Registration closes in

A fixed public deadline with a safe pre-expiry action.

Registration closes:

Registration Deadline starter: Ocean theme, pre-expiry action, and an explicit published deadline.

Service notice

Maintenance begins in

A compact status layout for a scheduled maintenance window.

Maintenance begins:

Maintenance Window starter: Paper theme, compact layout, no seconds, and keep-zeroed completion.

Configurable states

The useful decisions are controlled in the editor.

Choose the theme and layout, show or hide seconds and the fixed-date label, add optional action links, and decide what visitors see at zero.

Replace with message

Hide the timer and reveal the completed message plus an optional next action.

Keep zeroed timer

Keep the zeroed units visible while showing the completed-state content.

Hide the block

Remove the entire countdown after the target passes when no completed state is needed.

Honest target behavior

No personal reset or simulated scarcity.

The plugin requires an ISO 8601 target with Z or a numeric UTC offset. WordPress normalizes it to UTC so visitors in different time zones count down to the same moment.

  1. Choose a starterLaunch, registration deadline, or maintenance window.
  2. Enter an explicit targetAdd the machine-readable instant and an accurate human-readable label.
  3. Publish local outputOne small dependency-free script updates the visual units and stops after completion.

Privacy boundary

The plugin sends no visitor data anywhere.

It sets no cookies or browser storage, loads no remote asset, and performs no analytics or outbound request. This CTS demonstration page remains subject to the site-wide analytics choices described in the Website Privacy Policy.
