Use one default without losing page-level control.
Enable the gate site-wide, bypass it for logged-in users, or override individual posts and pages with Require, Skip, or Inherit. Confirmation can last for the browser session or a bounded number of days.

Minimal local record
The entered date is calculated, discarded, and never sent.
Successful confirmation stores only three technical values in local or session browser storage. There is no date, name, location, IP address, account, analytics event, or server-side verification record.
