What the app doesThe app calculates a transparent, non-binding estimate from merchant-configured base pricing, quantities, volume tiers, flat or percentage adjustments, rounding, and optional minimum or maximum totals.

1. How the calculator works

  1. A site owner adds the widget to a Wix Studio page.
  2. The site owner configures labels, quantity limits, currency formatting, pricing rules, and an estimate disclaimer.
  3. A visitor enters a whole-number quantity and receives an itemized estimate calculated in the browser.
  4. The visitor can print the displayed estimate. The app does not turn it into an order, invoice, contract, tax calculation, or payment.

2. Supported configuration

The widget supports a base amount, per-unit pricing, quantity-based unit-price tiers, fixed adjustments, percentage adjustments, a rounding increment, optional minimum and maximum totals, localized currency output, and merchant-controlled labels. Invalid or contradictory configuration fails closed with a visible error instead of silently producing a result.

3. Calculation boundary

Money values use whole-number minor currency units. The calculator applies eligible unit pricing, fixed lines, percentage adjustments, rounding, and total bounds in a defined order. Results depend on the site owner's configuration and are estimates only.

A public calculation-model demonstration shows the same deterministic pricing concepts using fictional values. It is a standalone demonstration, not a Wix installation or checkout page.

4. Privacy and Wix platform access

Visitor calculations run in the browser. The app has no lead form, app database, analytics SDK, advertising tracker, or external runtime API. Wix requires a basic app-instance permission that can include site, business, and owner-email details; the current app code does not call Wix APIs to read, copy, transmit, or store that information.

Wix stores the merchant's widget configuration as site properties under Wix's platform controls. See the product-specific privacy policy for the complete disclosure.

5. Troubleshooting

The widget reports a configuration error

Open the widget settings, review the named field, confirm the currency and locale are supported, keep the minimum quantity at or below the maximum, and verify that tier and adjustment values are valid.

A saved value does not appear

Wait for Wix Studio to confirm the save, close and reopen the settings panel, and test the widget again. Do not rely on a change until the editor reports it saved and the widget reflects it.

The result differs from a final customer quote

The widget displays a merchant-configured estimate. Final scope, taxes, discounts, contracts, and binding prices remain the site owner's responsibility.
